Karli IngersollMary Ellen Knight is a new transplant to Spokane from Tennessee. Although she obviously isn’t new to art, she is new to Spokane so we thought an introduction was in order! Mary Ellen has a intricate style of illustration using painterly textures and bright, yet refined color palettes to express a range of emotions. Her visual metaphors are striking and reveal there is definitely something more going on beneath the surface. A skill that has landed her a handful of awesome book cover projects.
