Karli IngersollSpokane has a thriving literature community with great local writers, locally owned and run book stores, amazing events and several reputable academic programs in the area. One of the biggest events that happens each year is Get Lit! It’s put on by Eastern Washington University and it yearly boasts an incredible lineup of authors and poets.
Recently, I discovered Spokane Focus. A group that photographs events happening around town. They captured some of Get Lit! from this year, so I thought I would share a couple shots. I had the opportunity to design the poster art for the event this year and a student helper for Get Lit! did a nice job converting some of the graphics into shirts, buttons, program covers, etc.
