Karli IngersollProud to share our 13th Collect Sessions video! We started doing these videos about 9 months ago. Our first one was in a backyard in Sandpoint, Idaho. We’ve filmed in lots of different spots now with different crews and different equipment from my Iphone to 2 RED cameras. Now we’ve got some great ideas for future sessions and there is no shortage of amazing acts that are ready to be featured. If you haven’t watched through all the past videos, you can see them here or on our youtube page along with footage from our last Collect Secret Show.
This video is our second featuring The Rustics. The song, “The Backwoods” is just plain breathtaking. It’s the harmonies and how the melody gently captivates you as it moves you forward through the song. The writing showcases Ryan’s amazing range and the vocal chemistry him and Mackie have. And the reverbed out slide solo by Lucas Brown is just icing on the cake. You can’t help but love it.
All these videos are done completely on volunteer basis to support these bands and the music they are creating. Thanks so much to our crew this time who worked really hard to put this session together.
