Collect Music Podcast – Episode 1

A podcast has been something we’ve been thinking about launching for a while. A chance to preview brand new tracks from local musicians, talk about events and bring in special guests to join in the conversation. Max, Scotty and myself are good friends and we regularly discuss our own music and the music of other local artists so it seemed like the perfect collaboration. Max and I are in the band Cathedral Pearls together and Max and Scott are in the band Water Monster and of course Scott has his own solo project under the name Scott Ryan. Not that any of us are experts on local music but we stay pretty connected and have the chance to bring to you the newest, awesomest tracks being recorded by local artists.

This first episode we chat about Wild Pacific, Terrain’s upcoming event, Uncharted Territory and The Round #6 coming up at The Bartlett. We even get an exclusive listen to a brand new Water Monster song that was created specifically for Uncharted Territory this Friday night inspired by a piece the Spokane Symphony will be performing.
