You’ve been hearing quite a bit about Bartfest here on Collect. We’ve been highlighting some of the headlining bands performing the festival and are really excited to be helping promote such an exciting event. Along with 3 days jam packed (9/5-9/7) with great regional, national and local bands there is also a huge poster art show happening featuring some of our FAVORITE Spokane designers. This is the FIRST preview of the poster show!
Normal Babies by John Mujica // Beat Connection by Stephanie Schrieber
As you can see we assigned each of the bands performing the festival to a local designer. 33 bands, 33 designers, 33 prints and 2 color palettes. Each artist was given a band and one of two color palettes and set free to design whatever inspired them. The result is awe inspiring. Just the pure fact that there is enough talent in Spokane to fuel something like this is amazing. But on top of that, all these designers willingly and enthusiastically participated, submitted their designs on time and did it all for free. The prints will be sold at Bartfest and through September at The Bartlett to raise money for the Spokane chapter of Songs for Kids.
